Ace Combat 2

Ace Combat 2 is a combat flight simulation developed by Namco and published in Europe by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Players take on the role of a mercenary pilot tasked with dismantling a global terrorist organisation across a series of escalating missions, with credits earned allowing the purchase of new aircraft and upgrades.

This broad multi-territory Original release carries serial SCES-00699 and was distributed across the UK, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Greece, and Portugal. It comes in the standard Full Jewel PAL case with a hologram on the case, and contains a single English-language disc. Released on 10 September 1997, it is the widest-reaching of the three PAL variants for this title. The included loose paperwork is a Namco Orange Single Leaflet specific to Ace Combat 2. Research suggests the English disc was the standard version shipped to all of these territories rather than separate localised pressings.
