Yeh Yeh Tennis
SLES-02272
Initially Released 8 September 2000
Yeh Yeh Tennis is a light-hearted tennis game developed and published by Sunsoft, and it is the sequel to Love Game’s Wai Wai Tennis. It brings the series to the PlayStation with a more arcade-focused take on the sport than the serious simulations of the time.
Only one PAL variant is catalogued, an Original release with the earliest date recorded as 8 September 2000. This single edition is shared by the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, and the language options on the disc are English, French and German. It is supplied in a Full Jewel PAL case with the Hologram B mark and holds a single disc. Because Sunsoft released the game as one multi-country package rather than separate regional pressings, there are no alternative editions to compare, which keeps cataloguing simple.
Despite its straightforward release pattern, Yeh Yeh Tennis is a fairly uncommon title in the PAL library. Sports and Sunsoft completists, or anyone interested in the quirkier games from the final years of the PlayStation, will want to track down a complete copy with its case intact.
