Wild Arms is a role-playing game developed by Media Vision Entertainment and Contrail and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, blending fantasy and Western American settings in the world of Filgaia. Players control a party of three adventurers, including Rudy, who wields forbidden firearm-like weapons known as ARMs, alongside wandering swordsman Jack and the princess Cecilia. The game uses 2D graphics for overworld exploration and transitions to 3D for battle sequences. The PAL release arrived on 15 October 1998.

Five variants are currently catalogued in the database, each covering a distinct European territory, with separate serials for the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. All releases come in Full Jewel PAL cases with a hologram on the case, and are single-disk releases. Language coverage spans English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish across the five editions. No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs have been documented. With fully localised territory-specific editions across five countries, Wild Arms represents a well-supported PAL RPG release and is sought after by collectors focused on Sony’s late-1990s JRPG output.
