WCW vs. the World is a professional wrestling game developed by The Man Breeze (later AKI Corporation) and published by THQ, representing the first World Championship Wrestling game released during the Monday Night Wars era. The game is an American localisation of the Japanese Virtual Pro Wrestling and features fifteen WCW superstars alongside sixty wrestlers from six organisations worldwide.
A single PAL variant has been catalogued, a broad multi-territory Original release covering the UK, France, Germany, and Spain. It comes in the Full Jewel PAL case with a single English-language disc and a release date of 1 December 1997, carrying serial SLES-00763.
