Warhammer: Dark Omen

Warhammer: Dark Omen is a real-time tactical wargame developed by Mindscape in conjunction with Games Workshop and published by Electronic Arts, released in Spring 1998 for PlayStation and Windows. A sequel to Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, the game is set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe and follows mercenary commander Morgan Bernhardt against a rising undead horde. The game features improved 3D terrain, a streamlined interface, and a more narrative-driven campaign. Five PAL variants are catalogued, released from 7 April 1998 and covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Portugal, across single disc Full Jewel PAL cases in English, French, and German. Loose paperwork documented across the release includes a Games Workshop Free Miniature Card, and case stickers featuring a round grey Free Warhammer Metal Miniature offer are present on all five documented pressings. The miniature promotional materials make complete copies particularly appealing to collector enthusiasts.
