VMX Racing is a motocross game developed by Studio e and published by Funsoft, one of the earliest motocross titles available on the PlayStation. The game offers eight 125cc and 250cc bikes individually rated across acceleration, braking, throttle, and speed, competing across four circuits including Enduro, National, Supercross, and Full format events. Players can earn points through stunts or first-place finishes, and a split-screen two-player mode is available in both horizontal and vertical display orientations. Only one PAL variant has been catalogued, an Original pressing covering France, the UK, Germany, Denmark, Spain, and the Netherlands in a Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram, released on 31 December 1997. The early position in the PAL motocross genre and broad multi-country distribution make this a modestly interesting entry for collectors of the period’s racing titles.
