SLES-00285
Initially Released 15 June 1997
V-Tennis is a tennis simulation developed by Tonkin House and published by Acclaim Entertainment, offering texture-mapped polygon players, nine configurable camera angles, and a selection of 16 players across four court surfaces and seven locations worldwide. The PAL release arrived on 15 June 1997.
One variant is currently catalogued in the database, covering the UK, France, and Germany. The release comes in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, contains a single disc, and is an English-only release. No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs have been documented. Game modes include singles, doubles, and separate men’s and women’s tournaments, with match length adjustable from one to five sets. As the sole catalogued PAL variant of a relatively straightforward tennis title from the Acclaim catalogue, V-Tennis is a modest but completable find for collectors of PAL sports releases.
