V-Rally 2
SLES-01907
V-Rally 2 is a rally racing game developed by Eden Studios and published by Infogrames for PlayStation, Dreamcast, and Windows, released in 1999 and known in North America as Need for Speed V-Rally 2. A sequel to V-Rally, the game offers single-player stages, up to four-player simultaneous play, and emphasises realistic car physics. It received favourable reviews and was followed by V-Rally 3 in 2002.
Three PAL variants are catalogued. Two share the serial SLES-01907, presented in Full Jewel PAL cases with a standard hologram on the case: a UK and Finland combined original pressing and a UK Best Of Infogrames reissue. A third variant under the same serial lacks a confirmed country or barcode. A Codemasters Showcase Catalogue is documented as loose paperwork with the UK/Finland original, and an Infogrames Blue Registration Card with the UK Best Of Infogrames reissue. No PAL release date has been confirmed for any variant. The loose paperwork items are useful identifiers for collectors verifying the two documented UK pressings.
