Total Drivin
SLES-00307
Initially Released 15 October 1997
Total Drivin is a racing game developed by British studio Eutechnyx and published by Ocean, released exclusively for PlayStation in 1997. The game features five vehicle classes and six international locations, each with six track variations totalling 36 circuits, alongside eight driveable teams with distinct handling characteristics. It received highly mixed reviews from critics due to its unconventional steering controls. The title was marketed in France under the name M6 Turbo Racing as a tie-in to the French motoring television programme.
Two variants are currently catalogued in the database, both covering an identical set of territories including Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, France, Germany, and Italy. All releases come in Full Jewel PAL cases with a hologram on the case, and are single-disk releases with English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish language content. The two variants share the same serial and countries but differ in EAN barcode, with research notes suggesting one may carry a barcode sticker over the standard release. No loose paperwork or bundled demos have been documented.
