Tombi!

Tombi! is a 1997 action-adventure platform game developed by Whoopee Camp and published in PAL territories by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The game follows the feral child Tomba as he attempts to recover his grandfather’s bracelet from a race of evil anthropomorphic pigs, across a non-linear 2D side-scrolling world. Two PAL variants have been catalogued, one covering UK, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, and a second covering Spain, Portugal, Sweden, and Denmark, reflecting a comprehensive multilingual release strategy spanning Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish. Both variants are in Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc, and both carry distinctive case stickers identifying the language set. Despite modest sales at release, Tombi! became a significant cult classic and commands strong collector interest, particularly in its original PAL pressings. It is considered one of the more desirable titles in the PAL PlayStation library.
