Tetris Plus

Tetris Plus is a puzzle game developed by Natsume and published in the PAL region by JVC, offering an expanded take on the classic Tetris formula. Released in Japan by Jaleco for arcades in 1995, the game reached the PAL market in October 1997. Beyond the familiar Classic mode, Tetris Plus introduces a Puzzle mode in which players must clear a path for a stranded professor before he reaches the top of the screen, along with Versus and Edit modes that add competitive and creative options. Only one PAL variant has been catalogued, a UK-only Original release in a Full Jewel PAL case from October 1997, making this a notably limited physical release for the region. As a single-territory pressing with a modest catalogue presence, Tetris Plus occupies a quiet but interesting corner of the PAL PlayStation library for completionists.
