Test Drive 4 is a racing game developed by Pitbull Syndicate and published by Accolade for PlayStation and Windows. The game features fourteen supercars and muscle cars racing across long open-road circuits with real-world settings, traffic, and checkpoint timers. PAL collectors will find six catalogued original variants spanning the UK, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, and the Netherlands. All releases share a single serial and carry a Hologram A on the case, packaged in Full Jewel PAL cases with a single disc. Language support includes English, French, German, and Italian. The earliest PAL release is dated 8 November 1997. The game briefly made Test Drive the best-selling racing franchise upon release, selling over 850,000 copies within its first year. Territory-specific EAN barcodes allow individual pressings to be distinguished.
