Syndicate Wars

Syndicate Wars is an isometric real-time tactical and strategy game developed by Bullfrog Productions and published by Electronic Arts. It is the second game in the Syndicate series, set 95 years further into the future than the original. The PlayStation port differs from the PC version, with a new introduction cutscene, changes to some levels and new items unlocked in a fixed order after missions.

The earliest PAL release is dated 17 July 1997, and four variants are catalogued across the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. All are Original pressings, with no later reprints recorded so far. The UK is covered by more than one entry, and Germany has its own serial, distinct from the one used in the other countries.

Packaging is uniform. Every variant uses the Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A and holds a single disk. Language coverage is wide, with English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Swedish all included.

For collectors, the consistent Hologram A cases and the German serial difference make this a neat, compact set to complete, and the lack of reprints suggests the original pressings are the only ones to find.
