Swing

Swing is a puzzle game for the PlayStation developed and published by the German studio Software 2000. Players drop weighted balls onto see-saws, trying to build rows of matching colours, with heavier balls upsetting the balance and sending others flying. In North America the game was released as Marble Master.

PAL release landscape

The earliest PAL release recorded here is dated 10 July 2002. Five variants are catalogued, all Original releases, covering the UK, France and Germany. One German release has its own serial, while the remaining entries share a second serial and are separated by country and by small markings on the packaging.

Physical characteristics

All copies use a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc, with English, French and German languages represented across the set.

Collector interest

Budget puzzle titles from smaller publishers are often overlooked, which makes clean copies of this one a little scarcer than the major licensed releases. The several German variants in particular give dedicated collectors plenty to compare, and research into the differences between them is ongoing.
