Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is a tile-matching puzzle game developed by Capcom, originally released for the CPS II arcade system in 1996. The game parodies the naming convention of Super Street Fighter II Turbo and features chibi versions of characters from the Street Fighter and Darkstalkers series competing in a competitive puzzle format. One PAL variant is catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain under serial SLES-00605, released on 1 July 1997. The release ships in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, in English on a single disc, published in Europe by Virgin Interactive. A HD remake was later released under the title Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, though the PAL PlayStation release of the original remains the definitive physical version for collectors of the era.
