Street Fighter Alpha 3

Street Fighter Alpha 3 is the third and final entry in Capcom’s Alpha sub-series of fighting games, originally released for CPS II arcade hardware in 1998 and ported to PlayStation the same year. The PlayStation version added an exclusive World Tour mode, additional characters including Guile, Evil Ryu, and Shin Akuma as unlockables, and brought back several fighters absent from the arcade roster. Published in PAL territories by Virgin Interactive, the game expanded on the selectable fighting style system introduced in previous Alpha titles.

Only a single PAL variant is currently catalogued, carrying serial SLES-01863, with English as the only documented language on a single disc. Country of origin, case type, hologram, and EAN barcode details remain unconfirmed. The earliest PAL release date is recorded as 25 June 1999. Street Fighter Alpha 3 is of significant interest to collectors of PAL Capcom fighting titles, particularly given the additional content exclusive to the PlayStation port.
