Steel Reign

Steel Reign is a vehicular combat game developed by Chantemar Creations and Sony Interactive Studios America, published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The player commands a battalion of tank prototypes against General Storm’s militia in a campaign that gradually expands the available vehicle roster from three initial choices to twelve. Notably, Steel Reign was the only title developed by Chantemar Creations before the studio was absorbed into Verant Interactive. Four PAL variants are catalogued, released from 1 February 1998 across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Greece, and Portugal, all using single disc Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL cases in English. The Mini Jewel Black Bordered format is a distinctive packaging choice that sets Steel Reign apart from the standard Full Jewel releases of the period and is worth noting for collectors who pay attention to case variants.
