Soul Blade

Soul Blade, known in Japan as Soul Edge, is a 3D weapons-based fighting game developed by Namco and published in PAL regions by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. The PlayStation version expanded on the original arcade release with additional characters and game modes. Five PAL variants are catalogued across Original and Platinum release types, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Greece, and Portugal, all under serial SCES-00577. The Original releases include both Hologram and Hologram B variants, with the Hologram B case type indicating a later pressing in the transition between hologram designs. All releases use the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case format on a single disc in English. Soul Blade remains one of the more significant PAL fighting game releases from the late 1990s, with strong collector interest, and the presence of multiple hologram variants adds an additional layer of depth for completionists.
