Skeleton Warriors

Skeleton Warriors is a beat ’em up platform game developed by Neversoft Entertainment and published by Virgin Interactive, based on the animated television series of the same name. Released in 1996 for the PlayStation and Sega Saturn, the game casts players as Prince Lightstar, battling through 20 levels of enemies to recover the Lightstar Crystal from Baron Dark and his skeletal army.

Only one PAL variant is currently catalogued for this title. That release covers the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain as a combined multi-territory pressing. It is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, and contains a single disc in English. Released on 1 September 1996, this is the original and only known PAL edition. No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs have been documented.

For collectors, Skeleton Warriors is notable as an early Neversoft title predating their landmark work on the Tony Hawk series. With a single PAL variant and limited documentation, a complete copy in good condition is a satisfying find.
