Silent Hill

Silent Hill is a survival horror game developed by Team Silent within Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and published by Konami for the PlayStation. The game follows Harry Mason searching for his missing adopted daughter in the fog-shrouded town of Silent Hill, uncovering a dark cult and multiple possible endings. It is widely considered a landmark of the horror genre. Seven PAL variants have been catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, in both Original and Platinum release types. All releases are in Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc, supporting English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Loose paperwork documented for several pressings includes a Konami Catalogue 99, a Konami Registration Card, and a Silent Hill Product Catalogue. The game first appeared in PAL territories in August 1999.
