S.C.A.R.S.

S.C.A.R.S., the Super Computer Animal Racing Simulator, is a sci-fi themed racing game developed by Vivid Image and published by Ubisoft for the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and Windows. Players race in animal-shaped combat cars through a Grand Prix structure, using weapons against opponents while managing the challenge of increasingly difficult cups. Two PAL variants are catalogued, both original releases in Full Jewel PAL cases carrying a Hologram A on the case, released on 25 September 1998 on a single disc each. One is a multi-territory pressing covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the Netherlands, while a second is a France-specific pressing noted for its red-coloured packaging variant. Language support spans English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The red-coloured French variant is of particular interest to collectors due to its distinct visual presentation.
