Riven: The Sequel to Myst is a 1997 adventure game developed by Cyan Productions and published by Acclaim Entertainment for the PlayStation. The game sends players to the deteriorating Age of Riven to rescue Atrus’s wife from the destructive grip of his father Gehn. Praised for its immersive puzzle design and visual ambition, it was considered a landmark in the adventure genre. PAL collectors will find four catalogued variants, all housed in the large Multiway Jewel Five Disk case format accommodating five discs. UK and combined Italy/Spain pressings share a serial, while two additional serials are catalogued with no confirmed territory attribution. All releases are presented in English only. The earliest PAL release is dated 15 February 1998. The hologram types on the cases are unconfirmed. As a five-disc release in a distinctive large case, complete and intact examples are particularly valued by collectors.
