Reel Fishing

Reel Fishing is the first entry in Natsume’s long-running fishing simulation series, originally released for PlayStation in 1996. The game was developed and published by Natsume, drawing from Victor Interactive Software’s Japanese Fish Eyes series before Natsume diverged with their own direction. Players can fish across multiple spots in Free mode or pursue a career through Season mode, managing tackle, reading magazines, and maintaining a fish tank.

Only a single PAL variant is currently catalogued, carrying serial SLES-01727, with English as the sole documented language on a single disc. Country of origin, case type, hologram, and EAN barcode details are all unconfirmed. The earliest recorded PAL release date is 10 March 1998. As a niche fishing simulation title with limited PAL documentation, this entry remains an area where collector contributions would be particularly useful.
