Rapid Reload

Rapid Reload, known in Japan as Gunners Heaven, is a run and gun video game developed by Media.Vision and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, released in both Japan and Europe in 1995. The game follows two treasure hunters, Axel and Ruka, blasting through six side-scrolling levels in pursuit of the mysterious Valkiry Stone.

The database currently catalogues one PAL variant, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, and Norway. The single Original release is presented in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case. The release contains one English-language disc, and no loose paperwork or bundled demos are documented.

Rapid Reload received a PAL release on 29 September 1995, making it one of the European PlayStation launch titles. Its absence from North American shelves and its status as a Sony-published run and gun title give it particular appeal among PAL collectors, especially those focused on the platform’s launch window.
