Rally Cross

Rally Cross is a 1997 off-road racing game developed by Sony Computer Entertainment America and published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for the PlayStation. Players choose from 20 rally vehicles and race across six courses covering snow, ice, sand, mud, and dirt, with power slides, vehicle damage, and a four-player split screen mode among its key features.

One PAL variant is currently catalogued, covering the UK, France, and Germany as a combined tri-territory pressing. The release is presented in the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case format with a hologram on the case, and contains a single English-language disc. The earliest PAL release date is 10 July 1997.

No loose paperwork or bundled demo discs have been documented. Rally Cross was well received on release for its gameplay and four-player support, and was later re-released digitally in 2024 via PlayStation Plus. With a single PAL variant and the compact Mini Jewel format, this is a tidy and identifiable entry in any PAL racing collection.
