Psychic Force

Psychic Force is a 3D fighting game developed by Taito for arcades in 1996 and ported to PlayStation by Acclaim for PAL and North American markets. The game combines fighting game mechanics with psychic power abilities, and whilst it saw limited commercial success in the West, it developed a following in Japan. One PAL variant is catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain under serial SLES-00629, released on 1 July 1997. The release ships in a Full Jewel PAL case with Hologram B on the case, in English on a single disc. A sequel, Psychic Force 2012, was later released for arcades and Dreamcast. The Hologram B case and single-variant PAL presence make this an accessible but quietly distinctive entry in the Acclaim fighting game catalogue.
