Psychic Detective is an interactive movie game developed using extensive live-action footage, directed by John Sanborn and written by Michael Kaplan, released on PlayStation in 1996. Players take on the role of Eric Fox, a psychic detective with the ability to project himself into the minds of other people, seeing and hearing through their senses to gather clues and uncover a dark conspiracy.

The database currently catalogues one PAL variant, an Original release covering the UK, France, and Germany, dated 1 April 1996. The game is presented in a Multiway Jewel Four Disk case with no hologram on the case and contains three discs. Research notes explain that the case physically houses three discs and a thick PAL manual by removing the rear disc holders, an unusual construction solution worth noting for collectors. No loose paperwork or bundled demos are recorded.

The three-disc FMV format and distinctive modified case construction make Psychic Detective one of the more physically unusual PAL PlayStation releases from this period.
