Pop n' Pop

Pop n’ Pop is a puzzle game developed by Taito and published in PAL territories by Virgin Interactive for the PlayStation, originating as an arcade release in February 1998. Similar in structure to Puzzle Bobble, players release coloured bubbles upward and must match three or more of the same colour, though in this version bubbles cannot bounce off walls. The game features characters from across the Taito catalogue, including Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands, and The New Zealand Story.

Only a single PAL variant is currently catalogued, carrying serial SLES-01971, with English as the sole documented language on a single disc. Country of origin, case type, hologram, and EAN barcode details are all unconfirmed. The earliest PAL release date is recorded as 15 November 1998. As a Taito arcade conversion published by Virgin Interactive, this is of modest collector interest alongside similar puzzle titles from the same era.
