Pax Corpus is a 1997 cyberpunk action-adventure game developed and published by French studio Cryo Interactive, released in Europe for both Windows PC and the PlayStation. Players take the role of Kahlee, a mercenary hired to investigate a bio-technological project on a distant planet dominated by a corporation offering eternal life at the cost of free will. The game has often been compared to Tomb Raider. Notably, the game was originally conceived as an adaptation of MTV’s animated series Aeon Flux before Viacom closed its gaming division, with Cryo continuing development independently and removing character references. PAL collectors will find a single catalogued variant, an original pressing covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. It is presented in English, French, and German and housed in a Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc. The earliest PAL release is dated 1 October 1997. The hologram type on the case is unconfirmed.
