Pandemonium 2

Pandemonium 2 is a 2.5D platform game and the sequel to Pandemonium!, developed by Toys for Bob and published by BMG Interactive Entertainment. The young sorceress Nikki and the pyromaniac jester Fargus race the evil Goon Queen Zorrscha to steal the power of the Comet of Infinite Possibilities.

Two PAL variants are catalogued, both Original releases, with the earliest dated 1997-10-31. Between them they cover the UK, France, Germany and Italy. The game is listed in English only, and both editions use the Full Jewel PAL case with a single disc. One edition is specific to the UK, while the other is a multi-country release covering the UK, France, Germany and Italy.

A BMG Registration Card is documented as loose paperwork, and copies that still include it are worth looking for.

For collectors, Pandemonium 2 is a colourful and well-liked late 1990s platformer, and the pair of editions, separated mainly by their barcodes, makes for a small and achievable set. The English-only language listing across the continental countries is a detail that makes the multi-country edition particularly interesting.
