SLES-00919
Initially Released 1 September 1997
Nuclear Strike is a helicopter-based action game developed by Granite Bay and published by Electronic Arts, the fifth entry in the Strike series and the sequel to Soviet Strike. Players pursue a nuclear-armed rogue agent through a fictionalised Asian setting, commanding a range of 15 playable vehicles including helicopters, jets, armour, and a hovercraft, with occasional real-time strategy sections managing ground troops. PAL collectors will find three catalogued original variants, each with a dedicated serial number for the UK, France, and Germany respectively. All releases are housed in Full Jewel PAL cases with a single disc. Language support is territory-specific: English, French, and German. The earliest PAL release is dated 1 September 1997. The hologram types on the cases are unconfirmed. Nuclear Strike received mixed reviews but remains a popular entry in the Strike series for collectors.
