Nightmare Creatures is a survival horror action game developed by Kalisto Entertainment and published by Activision, set in a gothic 19th-century London where players combat grotesque monsters created by the devil-worshipping Brotherhood of Hecate. Four PAL variants are catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece across multiple territory-specific pressings, primarily under serial SCES-00582. The variants are distinguished by both territory grouping and hologram type, with Hologram B cases documented across the main SCES releases and a separate German-language pressing under SCES-00684 with a standard hologram, notably a censored version with red blood removed. All releases use the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case format on a single disc. The German censored variant is of particular interest to collectors documenting regional content differences.
