NHL 99 is an ice hockey video game developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports, released in 1998 as the successor to NHL 98. The game offered coaching strategies, five game modes, and rosters updated to include the Nashville Predators expansion team. Two PAL variants have been catalogued: a general pressing with unknown country detail and a dedicated German pressing. Both are Original releases in Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc. Language coverage across the releases includes English, Finnish, French, German, and Swedish. The game first appeared in PAL territories in October 1998.
