NBA Live 98 is a basketball simulation developed and published by EA Sports, the fourth entry in the NBA Live series. The cover features Miami Heat player Tim Hardaway. The game introduced the now-standard single-button teammate pass, alongside improved player models based on real photographs. PAL collectors will find five catalogued original variants. The UK, Italy and Greece, and Portugal and Spain are covered by one serial, while France and Germany each carry dedicated serials. All releases are housed in Full Jewel PAL cases with a single disc. The earliest PAL release is dated 15 October 1997. Language support varies by territory. The hologram types on the cases are unconfirmed. NBA Live 98 was the final NBA Live release for the SNES, Genesis, and Saturn, making it a transitional title of historical note.
