NBA in the Zone 2 is a basketball game developed and published by Konami, part of the company’s XXL Sports brand and a follow-up to the original NBA in the Zone. The game features full NBA rosters, exhibition and season modes, and an improved AI with additional foul mechanics compared to its predecessor. One PAL variant is catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Netherlands under serial SLES-00560, released on 21 November 1996. The release ships in a Full Jewel PAL case with no hologram on the case, on a single disc in English. A round yellow promotional case sticker reading “The most playable…” is documented on this release. As the only documented PAL pressing, this single variant serves the entirety of the European market and is the definitive physical release to seek for PAL collectors.
