NASCAR 2000

NASCAR 2000 is a stock car racing simulation co-developed by Stormfront Studios with EA Sports and published by Electronic Arts, based on the 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Series and notable as the first NASCAR title to feature drivers including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart, and Adam Petty alongside the established roster. The PAL release landscape currently records a single catalogued variant under serial SLES-02191, an English language original release dated 24th September 1999 on a single disc, with country, case type, and hologram type all undocumented at the time of writing. Research is ongoing for additional regional variants and packaging detail. Despite being one of the more positively regarded entries in EA’s NASCAR series alongside NASCAR 98, the title saw limited European distribution given the sport’s modest profile outside North America, making confirmed PAL copies a niche but distinctive target for collectors building EA Sports completionist sets.
