Namco Museum Vol. 5
SCES-00702
Initially Released 6 February 1998
Namco Museum Vol. 5 is a compilation developed by Tose Software and published by Namco, the final volume in the original PlayStation Museum series. It collects five classic Namco arcade titles: Metro-Cross (1985), Baraduke (1985), Dragon Spirit (1987), Pac-Mania (1987), and Legend of the Valkyrie (Valkyrie no Densetsu, 1989).
Four PAL variants have been catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark. All are Original releases in English, presented in the Mini Jewel Black Bordered PAL case with holograms on the cases and a single disc. Country-specific pressings exist for the UK, Germany, and a broader continental grouping of France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, alongside a Scandinavian and UK variant covering Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and the UK. All share the same serial, SCES-00702, and a release date of 6 February 1998.
As the concluding volume of the original series, Vol. 5 is of interest to those completing the Museum run. The Scandinavian combined pressing is particularly notable and less commonly encountered than the UK or German-specific releases.
