Namco Museum Vol. 4

Namco Museum Vol. 4 is a compilation developed and published by Namco, part of their celebrated PlayStation arcade anthology series. Volume 4 collects six classic Namco arcade titles: Pac-Land (1984), The Return of Ishtar (1986), The Genji and the Heike Clans (Genpei Touma-den, 1986), Assault (1988), the hidden Assault Plus (1988), and Ordyne (1988).

Three PAL variants have been catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. All are Original releases in English, presented in the Full Jewel PAL case format with holograms on the cases and a single disc each. A UK-specific pressing, a German-specific pressing, and a broader continental pressing covering France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands have been documented, each with distinct EAN barcodes. All share the same serial, SCES-00701, and a release date of 1 August 1997.

Namco Museum Vol. 4 is one of the less frequently encountered volumes in the series, partly due to the relative obscurity of some included titles outside Japan. For collectors assembling the complete PAL Museum run, this volume requires some persistence.
