Nagano Winter Olympics ‘98 is a multi-event sports game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment and published by Konami, part of the long-running Track & Field / Hyper Sports series. Based on the 1998 Winter Olympics held in Nagano, Japan, the game features ten events including skating, skiing, luge, bobsleigh, slalom, curling, halfpipe, and snowboarding, with support for one to four players. PAL releases arrived from 15 February 1998 and three variants are currently catalogued, covering the UK and a range of continental European territories including France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain. All known variants use a single disc in a Full Jewel PAL case and carry English language content. The title is notable as the last officially licensed Olympic game released on a Nintendo home console until Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games nearly a decade later. Copies are generally findable but clean complete copies are always worth picking up.
