N-Gen Racing

N-Gen Racing, also styled NGEN Racing, is a 2000 aircraft combat racing game developed by British studio Curly Monsters and published by Infogrames for the PlayStation. Players pilot fighter jets through 38 aircraft selections across 14 different tracks rather than the more conventional ground vehicles, with weapons and upgrades unlocked through career-mode progression. The PAL physical landscape is currently sparse, with a single catalogued variant on serial SLES-02086 issued as an Original on a single disc supporting English, French, German, Italian and Spanish language options. Country of distribution, case type and hologram are not yet documented and require physical confirmation. The game received generally positive reviews on release, although it remained a relatively obscure entry in the late PSX racing line up, and PAL boxed copies are accordingly modestly scarce on the secondhand market.
