Music

Music is a 1998 music sequencer game developed by Jester Interactive and published by Codemasters for the PlayStation, initially a European exclusive. The title provided players with a library of pre-recorded riffs, sampled instruments, and a 16-track sequencer to create and remix their own tracks across styles including drum and bass, trip hop, ambient, and techno. Five PAL variants are catalogued across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, all as Original pressings in Full Jewel PAL cases on a single disc with Hologram A on the case. A range of Codemasters Showcase Catalogues have been documented as loose paperwork across the set, with country-specific variants for Germany, Spain, and France. The UK pressing features a distinctive Oval Purple Judge Jules case sticker, and the French pressing carries a Round Gold Consoles+ review sticker. A sequel, Music 2000, followed in 1999. Collector interest is strong among those with an interest in music creation software or unusual PlayStation peripherals and applications.
