Mighty Hits Special

Mighty Hits Special is a sequel to the original Mighty Hits, developed by Altron and published in PAL territories by JVC, released on 15 September 1999 for the PlayStation. The title is a compilation-style mini-game collection in the lineage of Japanese party-game packages of the period.

The PAL release landscape is straightforward, comprising a single catalogued variant covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain on a shared multilingual master. The release ships as a single-disc title in a Full Jewel PAL case, with English, French, and German as the supported on-disc languages, leaving Italian and Spanish markets served via the English option. Distribution through JVC rather than a major Western publisher placed the title in a comparitively lower-profile retail position, and surviving complete-in-case copies are noticeably less common than mainstream releases of the same period.
