Mega Man 8

Mega Man 8 is a 1996 platform action game developed and published by Capcom, directed by Hayato Kaji and produced by Keiji Inafune. The eighth entry in the original Mega Man series, it was the first to appear on 32-bit hardware and features improved visuals, full-motion video, and voice acting compared to earlier entries. The story follows Mega Man as he investigates a mysterious energy source recovered from a meteor crash site, racing to stop Dr. Wily from exploiting it. In PAL regions, the game was released exclusively on PlayStation without a Sega Saturn equivalent. A single PAL variant is catalogued, released on 28 February 1997 and covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain on a single disc in a Full Jewel PAL case in English. The sole PAL pressing makes Mega Man 8 a compact but meaningful collect for fans of the blue bomber’s classic 2D adventures.
