Lomax

Lomax, known in North America as The Adventures of Lomax, is a 1996 platform game developed and published by Psygnosis for the PlayStation. A spin-off from the Lemmings series, the game follows Lomax, a lemming knight, who must rescue his fellow lemmings from the wicked sorcerer Evil Ed across a series of colourful side-scrolling levels. Only one PAL variant has been catalogued, a France, UK, and Germany Original release in the distinctive Multiway Jewel One Disk case format, without a hologram. Language support covers English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The Multiway Jewel case is a less commonly encountered PAL format and adds a note of collector interest to this already modest-print title. As a Lemmings spin-off from Psygnosis in their mid-nineties prime, Lomax occupies a pleasant niche in the PAL platformer catalogue.
