LiberoGrande is an arcade football game developed and published by Namco, originally released in arcades in 1997 and converted for the PlayStation in 1998. The game introduced a distinctive mechanic allowing the player to control just one character on the pitch rather than the whole team, a concept that later influenced titles such as Konami’s Winning Eleven and EA’s Be a Pro mode. Four PAL variants have been catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, and a multi-territory pressing for France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. All releases are Original pressings in Full Jewel PAL cases, single disc, in English. A PlayStation and Namco Coming Soon Cars Catalogue has been documented as loose paperwork across the catalogued variants. The game first appeared in PAL territories in October 1998.
