LEGO Racers

LEGO Racers is a kart racing game developed by High Voltage Software and published by LEGO Media International for the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, and PC, released in 1999. Set in the fictional Legoland universe, single-player mode follows a character attempting to defeat the champion Rocket Racer, while a construction system allows players to build their own cars from unlocked bricks. Seven PAL variants are catalogued, covering the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Australia, all as original releases. European pressings come in Full Jewel PAL cases with Hologram B on the case, while the Australian release uses the Australian Slim Jewel format, also with Hologram B. All variants were released on 19 November 1999 and support an extensive ten-language disc including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, and Norwegian. One additional variant exists with country attribution still pending. The Australian Slim Jewel pressing is of particular interest given its distinct case format.
