Le Mans 24 Hours

Le Mans 24 Hours is a racing game developed by Eutechnyx and published by Infogrames, based on the famous French endurance race. Players can tackle the full 24-hour course or a simpler arcade mode, across circuits such as Bugatti, Brno, Road Atlanta, Suzuka, Donington Park and Catalunya, with weather and night systems.

The PAL release landscape is large, with ten variants catalogued across France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. The earliest PAL release is recorded as 25 August 2000. Six Original releases, one per country, are joined by re-releases under the Best Of Infogrames, Value Series Best of Infogrames and Value Series Black Label names.

All variants share a Full Jewel PAL case with one disc and a Hologram B marking. Language coverage is wide, taking in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish on the discs. The serials follow a single base code, with a hash suffix marking the later re-releases.

The six separate country Originals, backed by several budget editions, make this a satisfying and fairly demanding set to complete.
