King's Field

King’s Field is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published in PAL territories by ASCII Entertainment Software, representing FromSoftware’s earliest and most influential RPG series before their later Souls games. The game released internationally as King’s Field but is actually King’s Field II in the Japanese numbering, the first game having never left Japan. It is a fully 3D first-person dungeon crawler with a brooding atmosphere, slow deliberate movement, and challenging combat, set in a cursed medieval realm. Only one PAL variant has been catalogued, a UK, France, and Germany Original release from March 1997 in a Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram on the case, supporting English, French, and German.
