Jumping Flash!

Jumping Flash! is a first-person platform game co-developed by Exact and Ultra and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, released in PAL territories on 29 September 1995. The game follows Robbit, a robotic rabbit tasked with retrieving jet pods scattered by the villainous Baron Aloha, and was originally conceived as a technology showcase for the PlayStation.

The database currently catalogues two PAL variants, distributed across the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, and Norway. Release types consist of an Original and a Rental edition. Both use Full Jewel PAL and Rental Case formats respectively, and neither carries a hologram on the case. All releases contain a single English-language disc. No loose paperwork or bundled demos are documented across either variant.

Jumping Flash! is regarded as a curio of early PlayStation history, an unusual genre hybrid with genuine charm, making both PAL pressings of interest to collectors of the platform’s launch window software.
