Iznogoud

Iznogoud is a platform game developed and published by Microids, based on the long-running French comic series created by Ren� Goscinny and Jean Tabary, in which the ambitious Grand Vizier Iznogoud forever schemes to depose the Caliph of Baghdad. The game places players in a colourful side-scrolling environment, navigating obstacles and defeating enemies across timed levels. Released in June 1998, only one PAL variant has been catalogued, an Original pressing covering the UK, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy in a Full Jewel PAL case with a Hologram A on the case. Language support spans Dutch, English, French, German, and Italian. The broad multi-country distribution in a single pressing reflects the comic’s established popularity across continental Europe.
